Summertime and the livin's easy....

Ya know how the fates align sometimes 

and you have just an all around great day? 

Today was one of those days. 

My bike ride to work serendipitously 

included 3 of my favorite people. 

A hair salon rolled into work and gave $10 haircuts. 

(heck yes, I got one!)

2:30pm the power went out...

which meant I was off work by 3pm on this gorgeous day. 

Which lead to extra long bike rides downtown. 

Dinner, (free!) drinks and books 

with my favorite person at my fav bar. 

Today was a good day. 

I was born in a small town....

10 min from home and we had to stop for gas. 

Anthony found these gems. 

For those of you not from Southern Indiana, 

Ski is the equivalent of Mountain Dew multiplied by Red Bull. 

Otherwise known as not something you drink at 10pm. 

Oops! 

I couldn't get enough of my niece Ellyson!

I just wish we lived closer :-(

We realized the boysenberries were ripe! 

And for some reason, 

the grass must taste better in Posey County.

Jax grazes like a cow until we pull him away. 

Every.Time.

And then he voms. 

It's grosser than gross. 

The old IU scoreboard has found a new home at North Posey! 

 We went out Sun morning to see it 
and then we ran around the track. 

It was maybe the silliest thing I've done in a while. 

And hard. 
I forgot how bad sprints hurt. 
Ouch! 

Sunday night Julia, Joel and I had a hot dogger party!

What's making me happy this week! 

1. Family

The past 5 months have been so busy.

With the house, jobs, and big life decisions, 

we've been really missing family time lately. 

So this weekend we're in Southern Indiana. 

Yay! 

With that comes trips to Turoni's and Donut Bank. 

Double donut tray, yay! 

2. Huron and Hoyne. 

These are streets in Chicago. 

Streets that my good friends Julia and Colleen are moving to...

What does this make me so happy? 

Huron and Hoyne are only three blocks from our new house.

Weeeeeeeeee!

Dear husband....

Yesterday you came home from 4 days away

and announced very kindly that I

"needed to put on some l-b-s"

Your helpful solution? 

Upgrading my small popcorn and soda to jumbo. 

Hahahaha. 

I love you dearly. 

Oh, and The Avengers? 

Perfect Summer Blockbuster. 
Yay!

If Beer Olympics and Kickball don't make 
a person happy, I don't know what does :-)

The United Kimdom. 

Not only were we the sole team in uniforms, but

we *may have also had an intimidating cheer. 

(**yes, there was  cheer, no it was not intimidating)
Regardless, I think we had the most fun. 

I introduced Threadless to Sink the Biz. 
Which everyone quickly thought was unhygienic and disgusting. 

So, we changed it up and played with water. 

ha!

This move has been pretty stressful, 

huh buddy? 

I can tell because you kept laying on trash,

wouldn't leave us alone, 

and yawned like it was going out of style.
